MOVIE REVIEW (OLD MOVIE EDITION)
Clueless 1995
This film is a comedy genre film released in 1995 which was based on a novel. This film tells the story of the life and love of a girl named Cher Horowitz, or who is usually called Cher. Her life is so perfect. She is the daughter of a successful lawyer and many of her friends like her. She is also a good girl, because she always wants to make other people happy. For example, at school there is a new student named Tai. She is a bit innocent and Cher wants to help her to find a partner. In that film, Cher seems to be trying to find a partner for herself, but various bad things happen and make her sad. However, at the end of the film, Cher realizes that she actually has a crush on someone, namely Josh. Josh is her ex step brother. Since then, Cher and Josh have revealed to each other that they love each other.
In my view as a viewer, the reason why this film is titled "Clueless" is because Cher doesn't realize that the person she actually likes all this time is someone who is near her. This happened because she always focused on other people who were not close to her at all and didn't care about the people around her. Besides that, because she is the daughter of a rich man and is quite innocent, in living life, she is also often confused and doesn't know what to do. Those two reasons, in my opinion, are relate with the title of the film itself.
Mean Girls
Mean Girls is a 2004 American comedy film. This movie is really cool. Begins with the story of a new girl who moves from Africa and for the first time she attends a public school. Previously she was only homeschooled. Like a new child in general, the first day she enters the school, she needs a lot of adaptation to the various traits and characters of her friends.
One day she joined one of the popular gangs at her school to try to destroy them because her true friends also really hated the famous girl group. However, she was accidentally influenced by the style or anything related to the gang. It caused big problems and conflicts among the gang members. Until in the end, the problem carried over to the school causing big problems for the girls in the school.
With her guilt, she told all her bad actions and apologized to everyone. At the end of the film, she finally returns to being herself who really likes math and she becomes an ordinary person. Her victory in the math contest and her election as school queen made her become a better person. By not judging others. She realizes that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Just how we can receive and use it properly. Since then, she became a highly respected person. There are no more fights between women going on at school either.
10 Things I Hate About YouThis is a 1999 American teen romantic comedy film. I really like this movie so much. Especially the poem that exist in the movie.
"I hate the way you talk to me, And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car, I hate it when you stare. I hate your dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick. It even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right, I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you laugh, Even worse you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, And the fact that you didn't call. But mostly hate the way I don't hate you. Not even at close. Not even a little bit. Not even at all."
This is too good to be true. I really recommend you all guys to watch this film no matter what.
